I really want to repait the steelies on my DD Accent at some point...I only use them for my winters, but they are starting to rust - what did you use to clean the rust off of yours? (Assuming they were a bit rusty!)

Hmm, i just rarely if ever see steelies that aren’t the Cop models on a crown vic on a US car. Neat!

I used steels from a PT Cruiser for the winter tires on my SRT-4.

You probably see them all the time, but they’re covered up with awful plastic wheel covers, which are awful.

Masking off my tires when I painted my steelies was the absolute worst. It took forever, and somehow I still got a little paint on the tires.

I’m doing a write up but I used wire brush wheels with a drill attachment course then fine then sandpaper then etching primer to seal and level and then paint and then clear

Personally I’d prefer basically any other color but it looks like you did a good job.
